The location of the Montcalm is fantastic, right near Hyde Park. Upon checking in, the room surprised me. it was spacious with comfy beds and a lovely view. The shower was dreamy, which I appreciated after a long day. Breakfast at the nearby sister hotel was a highlight – incredibly tasty with friendly staff. there were some downsides. Getting to my room was tricky due to the lack of an elevator. the stairs were steep and many. The air conditioning unit was noisy, which disrupted my sleep. I noticed some upkeep issues in the common areas that need addressing. The service at times felt a bit disorganized, especially during check-in.

The Deluxe Double Room offers an updated bathroom with decent amenities, making it a comfortable spot for unwinding after a long day. Proximity to famous attractions like Hyde Park and Oxford Street impresses, allowing easy exploration without the hassle of transport.

The shower door is a tight squeeze, which might not accommodate everyone comfortably, particularly plus-size guests.

Great stay with spacious rooms!

We had a really nice time! The room was super big, way bigger than most places, and the bed was comfy. Loved the cool lighting options too! Breakfast just around the corner was epic. so much food! Only thing is no lift, so you'll be climbing some stairs, but not a huge deal. Would def come back!

Comfortable room, excellent location, with the comfortable bed and updated bathroom making my stay enjoyable, just a short 5-minute walk from the nearest metro station for easy city exploration.

Spacious rooms with multiple lighting options create a cozy ambiance tailored to your preference. The air conditioning runs efficiently. The unique dual shower feature offers a refreshing experience, and the nearby breakfast spot serves a delicious, varied menu in a bright, airy environment.

Unfortunately, there are no elevators, so climbing multiple flights of stairs can be a workout, and not all rooms seem recently upgraded, which can be a letdown. Some amenities, like the USB charging point in my room, were poorly installed and inaccessible. Basic bathroom features like a functional sink plug were missing. The overall maintenance needs attention. I dealt with a slanted shower shelf and a makeup mirror that drooped, making them frustrating to use while getting ready.

i’ve stayed in london before, but this place exceeded my expectations. the room was incredibly spacious and well-stocked with all necessities, making my long-term stay a breeze. i especially loved the excellent shower and the breakfast just a short walk away—so tasty and worth it!

the montcalm was perfectly located for our gig at hyde park! room 14 was spacious with comfy beds and a great view. the breakfast served nearby was incredibly tasty and the staff were so welcoming, especially corina! i loved the multiple lighting options in our room and the two shower heads!
